Caledonia Housing Association has recruited a Head of Finance and a Head of Investment and Sustainability, both of whom have extensive experience in the housing sector.<\/p>\n
Angela Murphy has been appointed as Head of Finance and will start in January 2025. Angela is currently Head of Finance at Hillcrest and joins the team with over 15 years\u2019 experience within the social housing sector including having previously worked at Caledonia as Finance Manager. The Head of Finance is an integral role which will manage and oversee the finance function to support the development and delivery of Caledonia\u2019s strategic and operational objectives.<\/p>\n
Angela said:<\/strong> \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to return to Caledonia and have a lead role supporting the team to develop and implement the financial and treasury management plans which will be integral to delivering Caledonia\u2019s business strategy.\u201d<\/p>\nAngela Murphy has been appointed as Head of Finance and will start in January 2025.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Julie Watson will be joining the Caledonia team as Head of Investment and Sustainability in November. Julie joins with over 30 years of experience in the housing sector 18 of which have been at Kingdom Housing Association as their Head of Capital Investment, while latterly she has worked at Ore Valley Housing leading their development and asset management plans. The role will shape the development and delivery of Caledonia\u2019s significant new build and regeneration plans and the investment strategies for the current housing stock.<\/p>\n
Julie said:<\/strong> \u201cI’m delighted to be joining Caledonia and look forward to working with the team to increase the supply of new quality affordable housing and to developing and delivering sustainable investment plans for Caledonia’s existing homes.\u201d<\/p>\nJulie Watson will be joining the Caledonia team as Head of Investment and Sustainability.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
The two roles will support the executive structure at Caledonia which also saw the appointment of new Executive Directors for Operations and Finance in October.<\/p>\n
